(the "Wellington Womble" song plays in the background and Wellington is seen playing with his toy rocket. When he types in the password on his computer, it shows a video of the moon landing.]
Wellington: Oh look, Tobemory. This is totally awesome!
Tobemory: I'm busy, Wellington. So I hope it's good!
Wellington: Good? Look, it's the moon landing, Tobemory!
Tobemory: Yeah, I've seen it before.
Wellington: But don't you think it's exciting? Wouldn't you love to go to the moon?
Tobemory: Not really. I'll find here on Wimbledon common. Nice and safe, making good use of the things that we find. Anyway, I haven't got a rocket.
Wellington: We could build one, couldn't we?
Tobemory: Well, you can try building one, young Wellington, but it'll only be a pretend rocket. You'd never get it to fly. Never mind go to the moon, what will you think of next?
[Wellington is disappointed when he hears that and faces back to the computer, then it cuts to the scene where Alderney and Bungo are rolling dustbins in order to make a pretend rocket for Wellington.]
Alderney: Tobemory will be really pleased with these old dustbins we found, won't he, Bungo?
Bungo: I hope so, Alderney. But they're rather big, and I can't imagine what he'll make them into.
Alderney: They're always good for storing things, though.
[Wellington is seen playing with his toy rocket]
Wellington: I wish I could make a space rocket. Oh hi, Alderney and Bungo.
Alderney: Hi, Wellington! Look what we've got!
Wellington: Well done, you two! Not that we really needed anymore dustbins.
Alderney: I'm sure they will be useful for something. Tobemory can at least use them for the metal.
Wellington: Well, I expect you're right, but there's always a use for everything.
Alderney: Are you having a good day, Wellington?
Wellington: Well, yes. I was wishing I could make a space rocket.
Alderney: Well, I think it's a lovely idea, but what would you make it from?
Wellington: Well, I don't know. It would have to be something round and long like a tube, made of metal, big enough to sit in.
Bungo: Where can we get something like that? I wonder.
Wellington, Alderney and Bungo (unison): Hmmm....
[Tobemory is seen mending an item that is something metal, but Wellington interupts him, making Tobemory drop the item that he was going to mend in the process.]
Wellington: Tobemory, we started making the space rocket. come and see!
Tobemory: Yeah, I'm coming, I'm coming.
[Tobemory went outside just to follow Wellington's lead]
Wellington: What do you think, Tobermory?
Tobemory: Well, it's a good start, young Womble, but it needs a pointy top to look like a proper rocket. Hold on a minute. I might have an idea.
[He went inside to get the traffic cone and he puts it on top of the rocket.]
Bungo: Well done, Tobermory, thanks a lot.
Tobemory: It'll still never fly, but have fun pretending! Now I have to get on. Some of us have got real work to do.
Wellington: Thanks for helping me. Both of you. Now, I'd better get on with it. It needs an engine and some rocket boosters.
Alderney: Are you really going to try and make it fly? I thought it was just for playing in.
Wellington: I would love it if I could really make it fly. Perhaps not to the moon, at least across the common or something.
Bungo: Well, good luck, mate. I hope you manage it. I know how clever you can be when you try. You're the brainiest of us all.
Alderney: Bye, Wellington! Good luck.
[The scene transitions into Tomsk going to the woods to find rubbish until he suddenly realises that there's a spring in the way, and he was curious to know about it. He tries pulling it out, but it flings him up in the air and Tomsk lands on the top of the spring.]
Tomsk: Big spring! I can control this big spring!
[Tomsk bounces off with his spring like if he's Zebedee and makes some bouncing sounds]
Tomsk (humming): Here I come on the big, big spring. Hum-pu-dum. Dum-de-dum. Wellington, look what I've got!
Wellington: Hey, Tomsk. Where did you get that massive spring from?
Tomsk: I just found it, over by the woods. I can't think what do to with it, though.
Wellington: I can. It could be just what I need to launch my rocket.
[The scene transitions to the building montage with the A-team theme playing in the background]
Alderney: Wow, Wellington, your space rocket is looking brilliant and it has a launching spring now.
Wellington: Oh thanks, Alderney. The problem is if I launch it with the spring, it won't stay up in the air for very long. It'll just come crashing down again.
Alderney: Hang on a minute, I might have an idea.
[Alderney goes inside to ask Uncle Bulgaria for the balloons. Bulgaria can be seen sleeping, but the knocking interrupts his sleeping time, causing him to have his newspaper on his face as he couldn't see, his coffee dropped, and the chair spinning around]
Great-Uncle Bulgaria: Uhhh, come in! Good morning, Alderney, what can I do for you, my dear?
Alderney: Good morning, Great-Uncle Bulgaria! Do you remember all those party balloons that we found, and the joke shop is turning them away?
Great-Uncle Bulgaria: I do believe I do remember.
Alderney: Well, I was wondering if we might use them to help Wellington solve the problem.
Great-Uncle Bulgaria: Hmmm, where were they?
[The scene then transitions to another building montage but this time, with the orchestral rendition of the original theme playing in the background and with his friends putting balloons in the rocket so that it won't fall down crashing to the ground.]
Wellington (preparing for liftoff): OK, prepare to launch.
All of the Wombles: Nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. Liftoff!
[One of the Womblies jumps up and pulls down the lever causing the rocket to launch faster than it should. Then it went up in the clouds and spins all around. Wellington then steers above the clouds. He then bangs his fist onto the steering wheel making the balloons pop up from the rocket, thus preventing the rocket from falling down to the ground.]
Great-Uncle Bulgaria: Earth to Wellington, Earth to Wellington, Can you hear me?
Wellington: Yes. Thank you, Great-Uncle Bulgaria!
Great-Uncle Bulgaria: Well, you do seem to be airborne, but look after yourself and do be back in time for dinner.
Wellington: I'll do my best.
["Womble of the Universe" plays in the background as all of his friends are waving at him, then Tobemory walks out of the door to drink his coffee but when he looks up in the air, he realises that there's a rocket up in the sky and drops his coffee much to Tobemory's surprise in sudden realisation. Then Wellington looks in the telescope and up in space, there's a asterism that was shaped like Great-Uncle Bulgaria. And finally, Wellington does his bind pose as if it feels like he's really flying. As couple of hours by, it's evening and the sun begins to come down. Wellington realises]
Wellington: Oh, my goodness, it's later than I thought. Great Uncle Bulgaria will be cross with me if I don't hurry home.
[He pulls the lever down making the balloons up in the air. But he does it too much causing the lever stick to break and the rocket to fall down thus losing most of the balloons]
Wellington: Oh, my goodness, help!
[The spring bounces somehow preventing the rocket to crash from the start, but when the rocket bounces higher and going straight to them, Most of the Wombles starts to cower in fear and closed their eyes hoping that they don't get hurt, and the most of the rocket pieces are starting to fall apart thus creating a crash landing. Wellington's inside the dustbin, completely hunky-dory.]
Wellington: Seem to have landed.
Tobemory: There you go, young Womble. (he picks Wellington up from the dustbin and back onto the ground)
Great-Uncle Bulgaria: Well done, young Womble and all the other young Womble who helped you.
Tobemory: I'm sorry, I didn't believe you, Wellington. It just shows what you can do with a little help from your friends. Let's all go and have dinner.
[The Wombles cheer]
Great-Uncle Bulgaria (laughing): Erhmm, and I think we have a little tidying up to do, first.
[The Wombles looks up in the sky to see at least one balloon flying away, thus ending the episode here]
